Shipping & FFL transfer

Every firearm is shipped to a licensed firearms dealer, not to a home address. You pick the dealer, we ship to them, and you complete the paperwork there.

The steps

• Order and pay by card.
• Tell us which FFL dealer should receive it — at checkout, or by replying to your order email.
• We request a copy of the dealer's licence if we do not already have one on file.
• We email you the dispatch date before the firearm leaves.
• Your dealer calls you when it arrives. Bring ID, fill in Form 4473, pass the check, collect the firearm.

Transfer fees

Your dealer sets their transfer fee and collects it from you directly. It is not part of our price and we receive none of it. Ask the dealer what they charge before ordering.

Where we can ship

We ship to dealers in states where the model is legal to sell. Feature and magazine rules block some models in CA, MA, NY, NJ and elsewhere. If your state blocks the item, we cancel and refund it in full.

Ammunition, optics and gear

Non-firearm items ship directly to you where the law allows. Ammunition has its own state restrictions and ships separately.

Damaged or missing shipments

If a package arrives damaged, have the dealer note it and email us the same day at support@kanesgunshops.com. Do not complete a transfer on a damaged firearm before talking to us.
